StarCraft 2: WINGS OF LIBERTY
After waiting 10 years, Blizzard finally released the latest series from the Sci-fi RTS-sellers. In SCII: WOL, we only follow the adventures of Jim Raynor and Raynor's Raider save mankind from the threat of invasion Zerg active again after being dormant for four years. The absence of the Protoss and Zerg campaign did make some parties even more disappointed for the price of the Standard Edition is too expensive, but at least there is a Protoss mini-campaign in this WOL who can provide a little entertainment.

Setelah penantian 10 tahun, Blizzard akhirnya mengeluarkan seri terbaru dari RTS Sci-fi terlarisnya. Dalam SCII:WOL, kita hanya mengikuti petualangan Jim Raynor beserta Raynor’s Raider menyelamatkan umat manusia dari ancaman invasi Zerg yang aktif kembali setelah dorman selama 4 tahun. Tidak adanya campaign Protoss dan Zerg memang membuat kecewa sejumlah pihak terlebih lagi harga untuk Standard Edition ini terlalu mahal , namun setidaknya terdapat mini campaign Protoss dalam WOL ini yang dapat memberikan sedikit hiburan.Cerita dalam WOL terbilang standard, Jim Raynor yang masih belum dapat melupakan Kerrigan dan dalam keadaan putus asa akibat perlawanannya terhadap Terran Dominion yang dipimpin Emperor Mengsk seringkali tidak membuahkan kemajuan berarti mendapatkan tawaran dari Tychus Findlay, mantan Marine yang dikenal Raynor pada masa tugasnya di Confederate kemudian dipenjara atas tuduhan penghianatan dan kriminal, untuk berburu artifak Xel’Naga. Lika-liku alur cerita amatlah menarik karena di beberapa misi kita harus menentukan pilihan yang dapat berpengaruh pada karakter lain dan jalan cerita. Kitapun akan penasaran dengan motif Tychus dan Tosh yang bergabung dengan Raynor’s Raiders dan apakah mereka dapat dipercaya?

BioWare mungkin salah satu pengembang game dengan hasil karya yang brilian. Selain selalu menuai kesuksesan dari game terbitan-nya, pengembang game asal Kanada ini pun kerap mendapat kecaman lantaran sering memuat adegan seks dalam game.
Jika menilik beberapa game yang telah terbit di pasaran hal tersebut memang tidak bisa dipungkiri lagi. Lewat Mass Effect, BioWare menampilkan adegan persetubuhan antara manusia dengan ras mahluk asing. Kontan, hal tersebut pun menuai kontoversi.
Judul game berikutnya yang juga selalu menjadi perdebatan adalah Dragon Age: Origins. Game tersebut tidak hanya menampilkan beragam adegan kekerasan, namun juga adegan seks sesama jenis.
Meski selalu mendapat kecaman namun Bioware bukannya kapok, namun malah terus menampilkan adegan seks yang makin syur. Hal tersebut didapat pada game terbaru mereka bertajuk Mass Effect 2.
Dalam game tersebut BioWare kembali mengumbar beragam adegan seks. Meski masih tergolong ‘aman’, namun hal tersebut tampaknya akan kembali memancing kontroversi game. Seperti dikutip detikINET dari Empire state gamer, Senin (25/1/2010).

Yang menarik pemandangan indah adalah memperlakukan ke mata dan lingkungan dirusak mengesankan membentuk elemen kunci dari gameplay.Kampanye pemain tunggal memiliki satu ton momen sinematik dan merupakan pengalaman 6-7 jam , namun bintang sesungguhnya acara di sini adalah multiplayer yang akan membuat Anda datang kembali untuk bermain lebih lama.
5 Bioshock 2
ioshock 2, tidak meneruskan kisah petualangan Jack dalam versi pertama. Game ini justru mengambil jalan cerita sekitar 8 tahun sebelum versi pertamanya, dan di sini pemain akan berperan sebagai Big Daddy.
Untuk para pemain Bioshock mungkin nama Big Daddy sudah tidak asing lagi. Ya, ini adalah salah satu tokoh antogonis yang merupakan musuh utama dalam Bioshock.
Untuk kualitas suara, sepertinya Bioshock 2 sudah tidak diragukan lagi. Beragam efek suara sangat terdengar baik dalam game, baik itu suara rintihan yang memilukan hingga efek ledakan yang dahsyat.
Dan uniknya, karena berperan sebagai Big Daddy yang selalu mengenakan helm, maka beberapa suara dalam game ini seolah-olah berhasil membuat pemain sedang mengenakan helm.
Misalnya, suara rintihan Little Sister yang kerap berada di pundak pemain. Ketika dijajal detikINET dengan modus suara 5.1, Suaranya akan terdengar agak pudar dan menggema sama ketika kita sedang mengenakan helm.
6 Assassin’s Creed 2
Secara keseluruhan kontrol game ini sama seperti prekuelnya, Assassin’s Creed. Dia bisa berlari dan free-run, gentle push, dan lain – lain. Yang menarik adalah kini sang tokoh utama, Ezio, bisa “blend” dengan orang – orang sekitar (seri pertama hanya bisa dengan para biarawan). Meski begitu dia kini lebih sulit untuk berkeliaran karena dia lebih “most wanted” dibandingkan Altair.

Bagi anda yang belum menamatkannya, segera tamatkan game ini dan anda akan tahu maksud saya.
7 Just Cause 2
Mendekati kenyataan, Just Cause 2 merupakan contoh permainan yang mengambil pengalama seperti kondisi sebenarnya. Anda diajak ke pulau Panau di Asia tenggara, dengan ukuran seribu kilometer persegi. Terjun dari helikopter ke tanah dalam kondisi politik labil, mencari bos lama dan mentor Anda.
Pemain memiliki ketrampilan sejata, bersama teman dalam faksi lokal sebagai intelejan pembantu, akan menemani perburuan. Musuh Anda adalah diktator penindas. Mereka menganggap Anda sebagai tentara bayaran Scorpio. Misi pun dimulai.
Kunci permainan ini adalah kekacauan yang dapat menyebabkan misi anda gagal. Misi sulit karena kondisi Panau berupa hutan tropis, gurun dan bahkan pengunungan salju. Gambaran ini jauh dari realistis, tapi pemandangannya cukup berkesan. Detail tekstur membuat setiap pengaturan menjadi jelas, dan efek– terutama air– sungguh unggul.
Selama permainan anda akan dimanjakan dengan berbagai pilihan. Anda bisa memilih berbagai pilihan dari eksplorasi, tindakan misi, ataupun peralatannya. Anda bisa bermain sendiri atau bersama ketika melawan musuh, membombardir, atau mengancurkan aset militer. Setiap pemain bias mengambil keuntungan dari kemampuan berbeda dan bermain dalam suatu cara mereka sendiri.
8 Metro 2033
Kegigihan manusia untuk bertahan hidup bukanlah hal yang dapat dipandangsebelah mata. Hal ini terlihat jelas dalam Metro 2033. oleh david Novan Berawal dari cerita fiksi yang diceritakan dalam novel Rusia, Metro 2033 merupakan kisah dunia setelah dilanda perang nuklir yang mengakibatkan dunia tidak dapat dihuni lagi. Untuk menghindari hujan asam dan asap radio aktif yang meliputi dunia, penduduk Rusia mengungsi ke dalam jaringan kereta api bawah tanah yang disebut Metro. Luasnya jaringan bawah tanah tersebut membuat setiap stasiun memiliki kebudayaan sendiri. Mirip seperti kota di bawah tanah. Anda akan berperan sebagai salah satu penduduk di kota bawah tanah tersebut.9 Splinter Cell Conviction
Splinter Cell: Conviction, merupakan seri teranyar dari sederet kisah Splinter Cell. Tak ubahnya dengan versi terdahulu, game ini juga masih menampilkan sosok tangguh sang agen rahasia Sam Fisher.
Namun bedanya jika dulu Fisher dilengkapi dengan peralatan yang serba canggih, pada game ini ia malah tampil dengan sangat sederhana. Bahkan tanpa mengenakan Night Vision atau pun pakaian militer yang kerap digunakan sebelumnya.
10 S.T.A.L.K.E.R. – Call of Pripyat
Seperti game-game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. sebelumnya, Call of Pripyat adalah sebuah game FPS yang dipenuhi dengan berbagai elemen RPG. Pemain menyelesaikan berbagai quest dari para NPC yang tersebar di berbagai tempat, memperoleh senjata dan armor baru yang lebih kuat, dan secara umum berusaha untuk membuat dirinya lebih kuat untuk bertualang di dalam Zone.
Keseluruhan dunia dalam Call of Pripyat terbagi dalam beberapa zona yang terpisah, dan di awal game pemain akan mulai bermain di sebuah daerah yang bernama Zaton. Pemain akan memulai petualangannya dengan membawa sebuah AK 47, sebuah pistol, amunisi, dan beberapa pengobatan dasar. Pemain akan berjalan melintasi kota mati yang dahulunya ramai oleh penduduk.
Game ini direncanakan untuk dirilis pada 31 Maret 2010.Call of Pripyat menampilkan grafis yang dibuat semirip mungkin dengan tempat aslinya, seperti kota Pripyat, stasiun Yanov, pabrik Jupiter, desa Kopachi, dan lainnya. Game ini juga menampilkan sleep function, player interface baru, dan kemungkinan untuk meneruskan permainan setelah menamatkan freeplay mode.
